Using Microsoft Agent Technology
This is a program that has been developed for
a Year 11 IPT assessment item and therefore contained a time restraint with
respect to the time spent on the programming.
It also means that the class in which it was created gave input whilst
the program was being developed in order to enhance the program.
This program is based on the famous Wheel of
Fortune TV game show. In following this
show the majority of standard rules have been utilised, although a few may have
been left out. In keeping with the Wheel
of Fortune style a Microsoft Agent character, Merlin, was used as the host and
so it is required to play the game (see the section below for the link). The files required for Merlin are the
Microsoft Agent Control, Merlin Character, and the Lernout & HauspieŽ TruVoice
Text-To-Speech Engine which can all be found at the website below. In
